The exam measures a technician's ability to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot the hardware and software functionality of RFID products. CompTIA RFID+ provides a baseline for the knowledge and skills required of RFID workers, giving business owners the opportunity to hire qualified professionals, and individuals a credential to prove their ability.
Several companies in the manufacturing and distribution industries value and support CompTIA RFID+ certification, including ScanSource and TI-RFID. ODIN Technologies requires it of all new engineers.
